With so much going on -- and often going wrong -- at work, in our families, and in the world, it’s easy to lose sight of all the good things that surround us.
I remember many years ago, for a short time, all of the “stars” were in alignment – work was going well, my children were in a good place, and the world was at peace.
I recently commented on this to one of my daughters. She said, “Mom, it’s a freeze-frame moment.”
I’ve never forgotten that image. A moment in time when all was well. I believe it’s important that when these times occur, we stop and appreciate them.
No doubt something will get out of alignment shortly, but for that limited time, focus on all of the good. It’s a freeze-frame moment.
